Los Angeles Internships

Program Dates: June 21, 2009 - August 15, 2009

The Los Angeles Internship Program provides students with an all-inclusive opportunity to complete an internship in LA, while having the chance to explore beautiful beaches, trendy boutique shops, and navigate the city Hollywood is predacated around. After officially enrolling, participants will work with a UOD Placement Agent regarding interview prep, resume revision, and ultimately, guaranteed internship placement in their industry of choice.

Included in the 8-week program are accommodations bordering Bel-Air and Hollywood at UCLA, 6-planned group weekend activities to introduce participants to the city, a weekly speaker series, a meal plan, a transportation to and from work in passenger vans, and the opportunity to enjoy a summer in Los Angeles with the hundreds of motivated college students in the program from universities around the country.

A summer in Los Angeles provides an experience filled with celebrity sightings, movie premiers, sunny skies and palm tress, surfing in Santa Monica, and hiking in Malibu. In addition to the 6 planned weekend activities, there is plenty to see and do, including studio tours, Rodeo Drive, Grauman's Chinese Theatre and cruising down the Sunset Strip.
