The University of Dreams weekend activities are one of the most popular aspects of our program, and it's no secret why. Traveling and experiencing the city is a crucial element in allowing you to explore all that Los Angeles has to offer. It is very important to us that you get the full experience of living in Los Angeles. Below is a breakdown of the type of activities the program will host.

Day out in Hollywood Los Angeles tends to sell itself when it comes to all the various attractions it offers. Of all the cities in our lineup, this is the one city where you will run into celebrities on an almost regular basis! We will kick start our summer in L.A. with a tour of Hollywood for you to get comfortable with your surroundings and also make any notes of anything you may want to check out even further during the summer. We will be checking out the Avenue of the Stars and Grauman's Chinese Theatre. This is definitely a day you do not want to miss out on! |

Santa Barbara Wineries As the location of the movie "Sideways," the Santa Barbara Wineries provide a great opportunity to see what a real vineyard is like for those who are wine lovers or those who have never been wine tasting. We will stop at different types of vineyards to show the range of different atmospheres that are offered in wine country. You will get your chance to taste some amazing wines and maybe even pick up a bottle for friends and family back home! They will love you for it! |

Santa Barbara Kayaking Santa Barbara is one of America's best-kept secrets, nestled between Los Angeles and San Francisco. You will be basking in the sunshine on this activity! Our guided kayaking tour will start next to the historic Stearns Wharf and head out about a mile from the coast. During our tour we will be able to observe dolphins, sea lions, and harbor seals up close and personal! These are breathtaking sights that you would never imagine seeing this close to Los Angeles! |

Day Out on Catalina Island After a long work week at your internships, you will get a chance to spend the day out on the stunning Catalina Island! A relaxing getaway from the usual active lifestyle that a Los Angeles native may have, this island invites you to have an enjoyable day out to escape and rejuvenate from the busy Los Angeles city life. Catalina, also known as the Island of Romance, is intoxicating to all visitors who get a glimpse of paradise here. |

L.A. Dodgers vs. N.Y. Mets This trip will be spent celebrating one of America's favorite pastimes! And what better way than to watch the L.A. Dodgers get matched up with some of New York's finest, the New York Mets? The game will be played at the legendary Dodgers Stadium with a breathtaking view of downtown Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Mountains beyond. Our game tickets will even allow you to have all-you-can-eat food! What a great afternoon this will be in the California sun! |

Overnight in Vegas It's Vegas—enough said! We will be getting a hotel in the center of the strip in order for you to have a central location and to allow you to explore all that Vegas has to offer. You will definitely not run out of things to do, whether it is walking the strip to check out the street performers and the lights or hitting the blackjack table! Who will be the big winner in our group this summer?! More than likely, you will want to be up until the bus leaves on Sunday! |

Going Away Party To end an amazing summer, we are going to host the end-all of parties! This will be the last chance that everyone will be able to get together as a whole and celebrate eight fabulous and life-changing weeks! We will be taking you out as our guests of honor for dinner at a trendy restaurant, followed by a chance to dance the night away to the hip new tunes of one of Los Angeles' ruling DJs. |
